Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in search of a Lead Automation/Performance Engineer in Clearwater, FL.Summary:As the Lead Automation/Performance Engineer you will be core to ensuing the quality and testing automation strategy for various applications and tooling that supports those applications. You will create robust, repeatable processes and automation to safeguard the customer experience as well as increase efficiency of the applications and team.Key Tasks:

• Lead and champion best practices and uphold a culture that is committed to quality, BDD driven testing and repeatable processes through automation
• Develop and enforce a standard process for testing all releases that includes automation into the software build, test, and release process
• Design and create test strategies - creating test plans to what will be needed for the current repository of automation for the product releases, with an eye to validating business requirements
• Maintain exemplary knowledge of product business, functional and operational requirements in order to incorporate into test strategies, day to day testing and reporting
• Conduct release testing, reporting individual and summarized results to Product & Technical Development team
• Assess and communicate product/release health based upon understanding of business and consumer strategy and priorities
• Manage multiple projects and phases of testing cycles - planning and execution simultaneously
• Hands-on testing of application to check for automation or performance failures
• Develops, maintains Automated or Performance test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of prior experience in Automation of a Web application
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Test Data Management experience
• Minimum 1 year of Setting up Mock Services, preferably with BlazeMeter
• Experience in creating Test Strategy documents to show automated testing of sprint releases
• Well versed in the compliance & quality processes and methods and has demonstrated strength in problem solving and resolution
• Analytical, problem solver, team player
• Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem-solving
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills, working with technical and non-technical individuals
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Testing experience on Snowflake, MS SQL Server would be added advantage
• Extensive API Testing knowledge using Postman and Swagger
• Working Knowledge on JSON, Rest and XML messaging
• DevOps with Gitlab/Jenkins CI/CD experience
