Arlluk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Lead Computer Systems Engineer/Architect with a Secret Clearance to support ATS and our government customer. This is a Remote position.

Arlluk Technology Solutions is hiring a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to serve as a technical lead for the operations, maintenance, cyber compliance, and business support services to address system life cycle and business process management for USACE's real estate portfolio.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead an IT support team to provide systems administration, development, and end-user support of cloud-based applications.
  • Provide iterative customer driven software management and development, database administration, design, and system engineering services for the Real Estate Operations & Maintenance enterprise suite.
  • Focus on maintaining that all USACE Real Estate systems are operational and cyber compliant by addressing and resolving user issues in a timely manner and troubleshooting/resolving defects within the systems.
  • Monitor and ensure the performance of all ancillary tasks associated with modifications and fixes made to the system as the result of user and system problem resolutions. This work is variable in nature and can be completed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis depending upon changes in business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Work frequently entails aggressive deadlines, a high degree of complexity, and a high degree of uniqueness as defined per specific Automated Information Systems (AIS) depending on the issue or action needed to ensure functionality.
  • Support development of Business Impact and Risk Analyses, Assessment of Required Risk Mitigation, and Risk Monitoring to meet USACE goals and objectives.
  • Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration and test plans, and all relevant documentation as required by the Government.
  • Develop security assessment and mitigation strategies, maintain compliance with DoD Information Assurance requirements as well as ensuring service performance indicators are met or exceeded.
  • Work closely with agency Network Engineers and Network Operations and assist in the design and implementation to scale network automation and manage complex deployment via automation.
  • Provide services focused on enhancing data quality and validity to comply with all relevant directives/audits
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • BA/BS in Engineering or IT related discipline.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the creation and/or evolution of the enterprise architecture function or program.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical and architectural aspects of enterprise-wide business decisions, including the strategy and planning for cloud computing, applications, infrastructure, network, security, and data architecture.
  • Knowledge of leading-edge technologies, including cloud-based technologies.
  • DoD IAT-III, IAM-II, and IASAE-II certifications REQUIRED
  • To be considered, must hold an active SECRET clearance.

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
