The Role

We are currently looking for a Lead Technical Trainer to assist with training our North America Operations (NAOps) team! Although this is the primary focus, this individual may assist with other training facilitation as needed.

The Main Responsibilities

Demonstrates expertise in delivery of facilitation and training activities supporting NAOps Field Employees in Enterprise and Mass Markets organizations.
Utilizes critical thinking and needs assessment skills to analyze, problem solve, and improve processes.
May have ownership of entire training program; includes partnership with key functional leaders.
Acts as change agent for internal customers in development of solutions.
Contributes technical expertise to the development, evaluation, and implementation of new course content in their area of expertise.
Actively supports the development of employees in the organization, including cultural and process changes.
Demonstrates experience in training facilitation, presentation, coaching, influencing, and communication at multiple levels of the organization.
Evaluates effectiveness and develops strategies to address root causes of business unit and corporate performance issues.
Exercises considerable latitude in decision-making. May work with outside vendors to identify/schedule programs and support materials.
Mentors and trains team members. Job specific certifications may be required.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Ability to travel up to 30%
Advanced knowledge of North America Operations processes, products, systems, and culture.
Advanced skills to effectively conduct training in the following forums: one-on-one, classroom or virtual learning utilizing web conferencing tools, VNC, and/or MSTeams.
Practical application of effective coaching techniques.
In-depth data digestion and action plan development based on post-training impact results.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize appropriately.
Thorough understanding of Lumen’s Performance Consulting methodologies.
Previous Field Technician experience of more than six years is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
