As the Leader, Information Security Governance, you will be responsible for setting and documenting the requirements for Cyber Security globally, in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Using your knowledge of Security, you will provide direction and thought leadership to the organization to increase awareness, with a target state of Security by Design. You will collaborate across the enterprise to drive a culture of Security, and ensure Security requirements are understood, support business growth, and become a key differentiator for the business.

You will need a minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in Technical Risk Management, Information Security and/or IT Auditing. You will need a Bachelor's Degree, and a Master's Degree and/or technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) are preferred.

In this role you will Develop and maintain The Western Union Company (TWUC) Information Security Program, including Policies, Standards, Procedures and Baselines. You will ensure that the WU Information Security Program can adapt to changes in the technology environment and surrounding processes (e.g., DevOps, Agile methodologies, Cloud deployment). You will maintain current knowledge of Security Frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CSA) and Best Practices, including an understanding of the practical application of security architecture and technical controls. You will consult with all levels of the organization to provide interpretation of the documented controls and procedures, and direction on implementing compliant and secure solutions.

The Leader, Information Security will need extensive experience managing and delivering high quality documentation of Security requirements, both technical and procedural. You will need extensive experience providing detailed technical information security guidance in a complex, global, and highly regulated environment. You will have demonstrated ability to make risk-based decisions, with minimal oversight, considering multiple inputs.

Additionally, you will have demonstrated ability to develop a strategy, and design and execute on the associated plan, have a customer-centric mindset and service-oriented attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to work with all levels in an organization.

Annual base salary gross:  $121,882 - $203,136. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
