Only currently enrolled students are eligible to apply.This is a part-time position (20 hours weekly max), based in Philadelphia, PA and open to currently enrolled students only.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Provide support for 3D printing operations.
* Process 3D printing, 3D scanning, and laser cutting requests
* Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
* Research new technologies for 3D printing, scanning, and cutting
* Maintain inventory and manage purchasing
* Analyze usage data and prepare related reports
* Develop documentation and instruction materials and teach workshops
* Provide 3D-printing and design consultation services to patrons (faculty, staff and students), in-person, by phone and virtually (e-mail and chat).
* Provide backup support for poster printing operations.
Qualifications:
* Current graduate student in engineering or related field.
* In-depth knowledge of CAD, 3D-modeling and graphic design software.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to follow and document processes.
* Service orientation.
* Tech-savvy. Enthusiasm and aptitude for technology and self-learning.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Affinity for working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Attention to detail.
* Humor is a plus!!!!
