Compensation: 23.00 per hour

POSITION PURPOSE

The Licensed Quality Management Specialist is responsible for performing Quality Management functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Perform Clinical Chart Monitoring for all Behavioral Health programs
• Meet with appropriate programs to consult on monitoring and review monitoring done with managers
• Prepare reports on the results of the chart monitoring identifying trends and recommendations; provide staff training as needed
• Monitor and determine effectiveness of monitoring and training on staff charting
• Provide employee trainings to clinical staff and manager monitoring as needed
• Assist with licensing and accreditation functions (i.e. United Way, CARF, NCQA, BPHC, and DMH)
• Keep apprised of evolving DMH, CARF, and CMS standards on care and documentation. Communicate changes to staff
• Serve as back-up coordinator of mortality reviews
• Assist Director of Clinical Quality Improvement with fidelity reviews of evidence based practices provided at Compass Health
• Assist Director of Clinical Quality Improvement with monitoring plans of correction regarding external fidelity reviews
• Assist Director of Clinical Quality Improvement with process improvement projects across the network
• Review and analysis of customer records and documentation practices to ensure quality of documentation meeting all standards
• Monitors and completes facilities change process for all regions in compliance with CARF and other requirements
• Data analysis to provide recommendations for improvement of clinical services
• Regular use of Microsoft Excel to efficiently show results and data in a way that makes an impact
• Assist Director of Clinical Quality Improvement with tracking and reporting on all activities related to core responsibilities
• Assist Director of Clinical Quality Improvement with staff training on any areas relating to core responsibilities
• Special projects as assigned by the Director of Clinical Quality Improvement and Chief Quality Officer
• Attend all training as required by Compass Health, Accreditors and Funders

EDUCATION

Master’s degree required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience in quality and utilization management required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Compass Health’s EHRs preferred
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

LCSW, LMSW, LPC or PLPC required
