VCA Animal Medical Center of NE Alabama is seeking a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

About Us

We are an AAHA-accredited multi-doctor practice in Anniston, AL. We see dogs, cats, and exotic species, are certified Cat Friendly by the AAFP, and support Fear Free practices. Enjoy mentorship and continuing education opportunities with us at our state-of-the-art, fast-paced hospital.

We are open 6am - 6pm Monday through Saturday, 10am - 6pm on Sundays.

About the Role

As LVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

  • Compassionate patient care
  • Client education and care
  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Radiology and diagnostics
  • Lab sample collection and processing
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dentistry
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Medical recordkeeping
