Stanford Radiology continues to push the boundaries of innovation in physics and engineering to develop cutting-edge methods for enhanced anatomic and functional imaging. Our diverse multidisciplinary teams of scientists, together with industry collaborators, are creating new methods for the early detection of cancer using molecular imaging, nanotechnology, and systems biology. They also continue to develop improved and more targeted methods for least-invasive, and compassionate cancer patient care.The Beinat lab in the Department of Radiology, School of Medicine at Stanford University, is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments.The primary goal of the Beinat lab is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer through the development of novel imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy strategies. The current areas of interest include developing new strategies for: 1) novel radiotracer development to facilitate cancer diagnosis, 2) development of targeted radionuclide therapies for oncology applications, and 3) clinical translation of useful radiopharmaceuticals.
