Job Description:
AgGeorgia Farm Credit, ACA, a premier agricultural lender is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team in our Tifton Branch in the role of Loan Officer (Special Assets), (Loan Workout Officer in the Special Assets dept) / lending opportunity in the agricultural financial industry).
Serves as a resource person to credit and lending staff in assigned offices. Assists in assuring Special Assets Management Department is effective in accordance with Business Plan in the management, resolution, and liquidation of nonearning accounts and acquired property

Skills / Qualifications
Essential:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Agriculture or related major preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial loan workout, collections, lending, or credit function for a financial services organization.
• Minimum of three years of experience in agricultural related credit work.
• Demonstrated competencies required in Credit Administration, Loan Servicing, and Portfolio Management.
• Farm Credit experience and in-depth knowledge of credit policies, standards, and procedures preferred.
• Above average management skills required including the following: Organizing and planning, judgment, decisiveness, analysis, delegation and control, communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintains a current awareness of economic developments and production technology affecting agriculture in Association territory.
• Knowledge of corporate and other legal entity documents, loan agreements, and other legal documents incidental to nonaccrual loans.
• Ability to work in-office required
