Job Title: Loan Workout Specialist

Location: WEST DES MOINES, IA 50266

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days a week in the office (required)

Job Summary: As a Contingent Resource within the Loan Workout team, you will actively participate in or provide support for low-complexity initiatives. Your responsibilities will include reviewing basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to low-risk tasks and deliverables in Loan Workout. You'll receive direction from your supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing a deep understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Additionally, you'll provide essential information to client personnel in the Loan Workout department.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience in Loan Workout or Commercial Lending, or equivalent demonstrated expertise through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education.

Job Description: The role covers responsibilities related to managing complex and sensitive customer issues, including estate care resolution (life events), remediations, and settlements. Key functions include:

• Assessing wide-ranging customer circumstances
• Conducting extensive research
• Determining appropriate courses of action
• Documenting and communicating findings
• Supporting issue resolution through direct mediation as applicable

You'll also manage stakeholder relationships with customers, family members, legal representatives, and business partners.

Team Duties:

• The team manages and supports the control step in the settlement review process.
• The largest portion of case review focuses on Credit Cards.
• Daily and weekly reports are received, and as a contractor, you'll receive a control or process to work on each day.
• The team is not customer-facing.
• This position is not entry-level.

Years of Experience Required:

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Desired Experience:

• Root cause analysis
• Understanding credit cards
