Title: Logistics Coordinator
Reports to:
Supply Chain Coordinator Job Purpose:
To execute the day-to-day details of logistics and complete other administrative tasks to accurately and timely reflect the inbound and outbound supply chain
Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight by directly working with carriers and warehouse
while using the Material Resource Planning data as a guide
• Communicate logistical changes with production, warehouse, and supply chain
• Build relationships with new and existing carriers to enhance efficiency to drive increased
performance and lower cost
• Jointly develop strategies with operations by creating detailed action plans using data and
industry trends
• Purchase and inventory management of production/maintenance stock supplies
• Serve as back-up to Supply Chain Coordinator
• Other administrative tasks as needed
• Promote personal and company image throughout the community
