Salary: $70,000-$75,000
Description:
Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Logistics Manager in PA! The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of shipping routs and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Plan truck trips based on available orders
- Plan backhauls and schedule raw material pick ups
- Supervise all fleet drivers
- Assure the fleet is maintained and operating in a safe manner
- Oversite of the electronic log book
- DOT and FMCSA compliance
- Manage truck drivers and deliveries for maximum efficiency
- Ensure all government license and taxes are compliant
- Supervise and manager shipping supervisor and employees
- Maximize material and labor efficiencies
- Make sure orders are shipped in a timely manner
- Evaluate shipping packaging to ensure products are protect and visually appealing
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience as a logistics manager
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
- Working knowledge of computers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
