Hiring for both shifts: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Rotating schedule and every other weekend off!

The Material Handler is accountable for all tasks/duties described in this job description as well as other assignments as directed by the Warehouse Manager and/or Lead. An ideal candidate is someone with printing experience, is quality minded, has good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!
Job Duties:
*Prepare jobs for shipments and perform all duties associated with the proper preparation of documents and shipment of material.
*Efficient and economical shipments of product to our customers
*Receive and put away corrugate and cores
*Retrieving corrugate and cores for Finishing.
*Receive packages
*Receive and unload raw material
*Receive and unload stock items
*Receive and unload non - stock items
*Place rolls in roll storage area
*Store all other materials in their proper area
*Proper processing of receiving documents and associated paperwork
*Stocking material for the press and finishing departments as needed.
*Remove excess material from jobs and return to proper warehouse location
*Move WIP from Production floor to warehouse floor
*Stocking presses - Check daily press schedule and stage the proper size and type of material at each press or in the warehouse floor staging area.
Experience/Skills Required:
*High school education or equivalent.
*Minimum of one year of forklift experience required; experience with both gas and electric forklifts preferred.
*Print manufacturing experience preferred.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks.
*Radius job management software experience is a plus.
*Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
*Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills.
Physical and/or Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
*Wear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting
*Frequently stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, crouch, and kneel.
*Frequently sit, turning head left and right to view 180 degrees behind self
*Frequently ascend and descend a height of 18 inches from the floor
*Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach for items, and use a keyboard to communicate through written means
*Consistently push or pull objects up to 40 pounds
*Periodically lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
*Vision abilities include - close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish color variations, and ability to adjust focus.
*Medium to loud noise environment
*Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed
*Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines
