A non-profit organization focusing on education is looking to hire a Long Term Temporary Coordinator of Prospective Student Advising will join a growing team focused on engaging prospective students prior to their start of graduate programs. As the Coordinator of Prospective Student Advising, you will implement the Prospective Student Advising model, delivering a standardized, structured, streamlined, seamless, and supportive experience to all prospective students prior to their program start. Building relationships with colleagues across campuses, you will serve as the core support system for incoming students as part of Prospective Student Advising. This role is perfect for a relationship builder who is focused on ensuring students' needs are met and eager to engage future teachers on their pathway into the classroom. Day to day you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students preparing for and enrolling in their new program to ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival across various texting, email, phone, and virtual meeting platforms, support students by problem-solving to find the best answer to questions and advocate for the best possible outcomes, manage a portfolio of prospective students for multiple locations, regularly report on metrics of success, present special prospective student cases to Case Management and approach with solutions-orientation, build relationships with multiple stakeholders, including prospective students, Student Services staff, campus staff, and school partner staff and liaise with location directors and certification officers regularly regarding prospective student advising. In order to be considered for the role you will have strong interpersonal skills, including a strong sense of empathy while keeping expectations high for prospective students, ability to advocate for prospective students and empower prospective students to advocate for themselves, attention to detail and a focus on efficiency and systems building, strong organizational and communication skills with a service-oriented mentality, quantitative skills and proficiency in Excel, ability to draft strong external communications, Bachelor's degree required and 1 + years of professional experience, preferably in education and/or operations. This role is 100% remote. You will work between 9am - 5pm daily. Hourly rate is DOE.
