LPN - Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, NY

We have an opportunity to develop and grow your nursing career! The team is looking for a LPN to work part time days! The teamare willing to help train new nurses or those looking to explore a different venture of nursing!

Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center is a beautiful 80 bed nursing home that has been providing outstanding care to the local community since 1985. We're located at 2256 Burdett Avenue in Troy (directly across the street from Samaritan Hospital, a part of our health system), with an on-site CDTA bus stop.
A member of the esteemed Eddy system of senior living facilities, Eddy Memorial (or EMGC for short) has a goal of providing the highest possible quality of life to residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of memory loss, while also providing a full suite of long-term care and short term rehabilitation services for our memory care and non-memory care residents alike

What you will do:

At Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, our goal is to provide the highest possible quality of life to residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of memory loss. We want to be sure that every day is filled with moments that matter - moments of genuine pleasure, moments of genuine purpose and moments of genuine peace.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to residents under the direction of a RN
  • Assist with treatments and procedures and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care
  • Assist in the leadership of a team of C.N.As

What you will need:
  • Valid NYS LPN license
  • 1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills
