Basic Job Functions:
- Follows production/process specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel.
- Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Performs all work in accordance with proper work methods.
- Maintains operating records and reports of test results.
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities with the equipment to maintenance technician.
- Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Perform regular quality checks.
This is a physically moderate role which will require lifting and carrying of average weight material. Working indoor non-climate controlled environment. Extreme weather condition inside.
Minimum Qualifications:
Dependable work ethic with positive attitude
Must be energetic, ready to work in a fast pace environment, self starter
Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs in a repetitive basis.
Able to read/ write and read tape measure (pre-employment testing)
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook intermediate level
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Background in a manufacturing environment
Ability to perform general mathematic calculations including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, and division. Some positions may require advance mathematics.
