Description:
Employee responsibilities will include and not limited to light maintenance and repair at offsite locations. Repairs will include carpentry Electrical, plumbing and HVAC. These tasks will be under the direction and guidance of the Plant Operation Foremen reporting to the Director of Facilities and Construction .

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Day Shift

  • Install and maintains sinks and toilets
  • Install equipment used in the operation of HVAC system
  • Install heating, refrigeration and lighting controls
  • Assist electrician with installation of new service or projects
  • Assist carpenters with installation of such items as doors, windows and locks etc
  • Replaces defective floor tiles
  • Repairs machinery and equipment to keep in good running order
  • Repairs fixed equipment major movable equipment and minor equipment i.e wheel chairs treatment tables side rail lighting signs patient call lights
  • Completes daily logs and requisitions
  • Complete preventive maintenance forms and a timely manner
  • Able to locate and demonstrate appropriate use of safety equipment
  • Assists in snow and ice removal
  • Demonstrate knowledge of incoming location of incoming services- electrical, water, natural gas to offsite locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and 2-4 years experience
  • Technical School/1 year college preferred
