Manager - Call Center - Georgia Heart Institute - Oakwood

Full Time: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

We are currently seeking an Ambulatory Nurse Manager to join our dynamic team of health care professionals in Gainesville, Ga. The Ambulatory Nurse manager works independently and has primary responsibility for the operational, human resource, and administrative functions of his/her assigned area. They will be responsible for the department providing a patient-centric environment to both internal and external customers. Coordinates and provides instruction to new and tenured clinical staff related to orientation and ongoing competency assessments utilizing a variety of settings and methodologies. Partners with Directors, Practice Managers, and other clinical staff in determining appropriate triage pathways and to develop standard work around patient concerns. Incorporates critical thinking skills, evidence-based practice and quality into all educational activities. Coordinates and maintains proper functions of patient care to support THC providers. Clinically assists with patient care and functions in the triage role as a component of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in Georgia
• Current BLS certification required; PALS, ACLS preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Required
• 5 years of medical office/clinical care experience within the last 5 years
• Formal clinical education experience and/or preceptorship experience preferred.
