Kimberly-Clark's global Corporate Strategy team has played a key role in solving the company's largest and most pressing strategic issues for the past 10+ years. The group's purpose is to lead development and implementation of enterprise-wide strategy and develop strategic recommendations on issues at the highest level of the organization, while serving as a talent pipeline for the company.

Scope/Organizational Relationships:

The Transformation Manager will report to the Senior Director or Director of Corporate Strategy within the Strategy Office. Work is strongly influenced by the CEO and other C-level executives, global functional and strategic leaders, and business P&L owners. The Transformation Manager is expected to be an individual contributor and may manage projects and resources depending on project scope. While there are not dedicated direct reports associated with this role, the Strategy Manager may manage Corporate Strategy and other K-C team members on various projects depending on project scope.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Corporate Strategy Sr. Directors, Directors, CSO and other strategy team members in the execution of projects associated with the CEO's value creation agenda.
  • Partner with business unit teams (regions) and functions to execute strategies at a regional, functional, category, brand and /or country level that drive shareholder value with clear plans for embedding and scaling strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver against objectives, in partnership with Corporate Strategy colleagues, business teams, and external partners
  • Leverage broad set of resources to bring objective, externally driven perspectives, options, or recommendations to business partners
  • Independently lead specific workstreams within projects and/or manage transformation Missions
  • Drive value for the team through advising on work product, synthesizing recommendations and supporting the management of change within the projects and broader organization
  • Support team ideation with outside-in perspective, identifying and problem solving risks leveraging agile and strategic tools to ensure Mission success

The successful candidate will join the Enterprise Corporate Strategy team and report to Senior Director, Corporate Strategy (Transformation).

Location: Role can be based out of either Dallas, TX; Roswell, GA; Neenah, WI; or Chicago, IL

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years professional experience with demonstrated success in roles of increasing responsibility / complexity
  • Strong commercial acumen as evidenced by track record of delivering results in commercial-oriented positions (3-5 years of proven functional experience in Sales or Marketing in FMCG /CPG companies will be an added advantage)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile/SCRUM qualifications and/or experience

Desired Skills:

  • Written and Verbal Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing experience; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience
  • Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure and creativity to ambiguous problems
  • Business Acumen: An awareness of what drives profitability and cash flow, a market-focused approach to the business, and an overall knowledge of business and functional interrelationships
  • Initiative and Motivation: Highly motivated self-starter who is performance driven
  • Project and change management skills: ability to manage multiple work-streams; track-record of successful implementation of projects - from concept to execution.
