What Were Looking For:

  • This position will manage the N.A. inside sales team, and Distribution in the Americas will have approximately eight direct reports, which at times could be higher or a lesser amount.
  • Responsible for managing the sales efforts of their team and providing leadership towards achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision.
  • Represents the team internally and externally; ensures their department is exceeding expectations from both a product and customer perspective. Manages the workforce by making decisions on workload and setting priorities for the team. Consistently recommends operational improvements, contributes to the strategic objectives, and manages team effectiveness. Accurately forecasts and drives teams to manage opportunities and sales.
  • Manage the sales teams' strategic and sales objectives and create tactical solutions to meet/exceed goals.
  • Will be involved in employee development, recruiting, hiring and training, performance reviews, salary administration, daily coaching and feedback, goal setting, development planning, and performance management. Progressively and proactively manage development and performance issues. Deliver a high-performing team.
  • Develop customer relationships: Strengthens NIC's reputation by delivering service excellence and process efficiencies.
  • Attend reviews and meetings. Increase management presence at customer accounts to achieve access to all levels of decision-makers. Implement effective and practiced techniques for solving problems. Effectively communicate with all levels senior-level contacts at customers.
  • Manage Sales Strategies, Quoting, Channel Inventory, Pricing, Marketing, QBR's, S&D's, Stock Rotations, and POS for Distribution in the Americas.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manages professional employees and supervises a significant, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s).
  • Will be accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Will provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers.
  • Accountable for the budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination, and other personnel actions
  • Typically requires ten years of related experience with a four-year degree, or eight years and an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$180,000.00 - $220,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
