The HOA Manager is responsible for overseeing the HOA Coordinators in the HOA Department and for management and oversight of the HOA compliance, assessment, intake, and escalation processes. This position will also identify areas for improvement and implement processes to increase efficiency and communication with other Company departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs staff management by setting expectations, guiding, and training HOA Coordinators on departmental policies and procedures. Monitors performance, identifies areas for improvement and provides coaching as needed.
  • Reviews and approves HOA fines and violation work orders in CRM and Yardi to ensure accuracy and cost controls.
  • Reaches out to tenants, HOA, or vendors regarding escaladed HOA issues to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
  • Monitors department key metrics such as assessments, backlog, new, closed fines, etc. and identifies issues to address. Routes issues to appropriate staff member for resolution.
  • Communicates HOA issues to Property Management and Construction department to ensure violations are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Evaluates departmental workflows regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing direct reports required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience required.
  • Customer Service and Property Management experience a plus
  • Experience with Yardi and CRM a plus
  • HOA management experience required (CAM license or CAI certification indicative of experience)
  • Basic PC skills including Microsoft office
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong staffing, development, and appraisal skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take prudent risks
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills
