The Manager Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) oversees and further develops the information systems that support all human resource functions to support a growing and thriving integrated Baylor Scott & White Health System. The Manager of HRIS will have a demonstrated track record of strong management and communication skills and will manage a team of several HRIS professionals who will implement and maintain the systems to support HR. The focus of this role will be to support, develop, implement, and keep current best-in-class technology solutions while overseeing day-to-day operations of the technology solutions to support the human resources service delivery model.

In addition, the Manager HRIS for BSWH has the following responsibilities:
  • Business process and workflow development, standardization, and implementation.
  • Assist with development of project plans and represent HR during analysis, design and testing phases (test plans and user testing) of HR application projects with IT. Understand business process and opportunities to translate into requirements.
  • Knowledge of HR processes to be liaison between HR and IT department for HR Projects.
  • Best practice implementation and standardization of HRIS systems.
  • Delivers Web-based, cloud based solutions within Human Resources.
  • Ability to reduce customization through consultative approach with business partners and end users.
  • Supports the delivery of best-in-class solutions on time and on budget.
  • Supports the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • Maintains business user relationships and develops and maintains an understanding and up-to-date awareness of business functionality, business systems, industry requirements and technology solutions available.
  • Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussions with users, including problem resolution, research, and isolation and resolution steps.
     
The ideal Manager HRIS for Baylor Scott and White Health will possess the following:
  • Strong Application Testing, Application Configuration and Application Deployment experience.
  • Strong leadership, people, and communication skills required.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proven track record of managing multi-system integrations.
  • HRIS experience with a particular emphasis on PeopleSoft, including experience with an upgrade of HRIS systems.
 
The ideal Manager Talent Management will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.  Maintain strong leadership, team player and organizational skills.  
 
  • Location/Facility – location is flexible to candidate's preference (can be remote, or work out of the Dallas/Temple area)

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 5 years experience required
