Job Description Summary:
The Issuance and Tokenization (InT) team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on building platforms that enable issuing physical and virtual cards/tokens at scale. An ideal candidate for this role is someone with strong foundations in software development with expertise leading and managing development teams in a fast paced environment. You will be accountable for one or more products/capabilities within InT and will work directly with Product Managers, Architects, Customers, and other stakeholders

Job Description:

Manage and coach teams comprising highly skilled engineers at different experience levels.
Participate in the analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of large scale enterprise grade products & platforms.
Be able to define and set standards for engineering rigor and help cultivate an engineering driven culture
Drive Engineering strategy and vision for the product working closely with customers and product managers.
Should be able to help develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts to facilitate decision making.
Be able to motivate the team to innovate and contribute to open source projects as the need arises.
Qualifications:

MS or BS degree in computer science or equivalent with 12+ years of experience planning, designing, developing and delivering large scale platforms and products.
4+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading software development teams.
Hands-on experience with design and development of scalable web services and platforms
Is a strong leader with the ability to lead & manage a high performing team, can creatively balance high-quality delivery with customer focus to meet business needs.
Proven track record of delivering results in an aggressive and fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
