Department:

Manufacturing Engineer - Triadelphia

Experienced manufacturing engineer responsible for Manufacturing process design, implementation and optimization from converting and related industries including printing, coating, extrusion and lamination.

Responsibilities:

• Commission new and upgrade existing manufacturing equipment
• Focus on production capabilities including efficiency, quality and profitability
• Create and maintain effective process conditions and operating procedures
• Team with product development to design and modify manufacturing processes for new and existing products from conception through validation
• Identify, lead and execute problem solving and Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) activities for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• B. S. Engineering and/or manufacturing technical education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in related industry
• Education in engineering or related technical discipline
• Hands-on web handling experience with poly film, foil, paper and foam substrates to produce flexible packaging laminates preferred
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
• Some travel may be required to assist other plants
