How will you make an impact?

As the Manager of Manufacturing, you will ensure our Fremont operation can meet or exceed our scaling growth targets. Your success will be measured by the team's ability to drive the Master Production Schedule that will satisfy customer demand. You will lead and develop the Manufacturing team by setting targets for performance, leading department daily standard work, and providing proven developmental leadership to a growing team. At our Fremont site, we produce Electrical Failure Analysis and Optical Fault Isolation Tools for the semiconductor industry.

What will you do?

  • Drive the Build Plan (Master Production Schedule) for Semiconductor - Failure Analysis Tools with custom order configurations and advanced optics technology.
  • Ensure the manufacturing of quality products through the departmental standards and procedures, and continuous quality, safety, and efficiency improvement efforts.
  • Hands-on leadership and project management to drive the operational efficiencies and process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve capacity.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and R&D on new product introductions and successfully transition to manufacturing.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools to resolve problem root causes, implement corrective and preventative actions, and partner with Quality on vendor quality, customer field issues, and outgoing quality.
  • Mentor team members to achieve results and solve problems by applying the tier management system.
  • Enable team to reach their career aspirations through the creation and implementation of effective training, development opportunities, and mentoring.
  • Report to senior leadership on operational metrics and barriers to execution.
How will you get here?

Education:
  • Minimum required education: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience of global manufacturing experience.
  • Prior experience managing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma, or equal) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven experience in leading and developing successful teams.
  • Demonstrated success solving sophisticated problems with practical solutions.
  • Authority in analyzing and communicating data to enable decision making.
  • Extensive knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as RCCM, DMAIC, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships in a global environment and influence technical employees, peers, and management.
  • Ability to Role Model integrity, intensity, involvement, and innovation.

  • Excellent communication is required. This includes both written and spoken communications with team members, peers, and senior management.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $106,900.00-$160,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
