Position Summary

MEPPI's Corporate Marketing Department is looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to develop and execute MEPPI's overall marketing and division communication strategies. In addition, you will manage the creation, implementation and execution of new product launch campaigns to achieve strategic and financial objectives. Quantitatively measure the performance of corporate marketing efforts.
Essential Functions

  • Develop overall marketing communication plan to promote the MEPPI brand and overall organization according the annual strategic marketing plan. Promote MEPPI as a leader in strategic and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with corporate and division leaders to develop division marketing communication initiatives focused on specific division products and services.
  • Formulate and execute the annual trade show and corporate event strategy. Develop budgets, schedules and project plans for trade shows and events.
  • Design and implement consistent corporate theming for MEPPI and across divisions for trade shows, events, digital media, print media, press release and product launches.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a formalized product launch process. Manage the creation and execution of all product launches using the formal launch process.
  • Track and report performance of marketing efforts and initiatives using quantifiable measures. Compare results against defined goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the creative direction, publication and maintenance of MEPPI sponsored brands artwork, brochures, product data sheets, websites, print advertisement and other marketing communications.
  • Research and create technical papers covering key MEPPI related technologies and present at industry conferences such as the IEEE.
  • Manage the marketing staff according to Company policies and procedures to effectively achieve Company and Division objectives. Develop employees by training, cross training and providing continued education opportunities. Conduct performance reviews and provide input for salary decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor�s degree in marketing or business with a minimum 7 years of experience in industrial marketing and a minimum 3 years management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of power systems industry, products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing, website development software and marketing analytics applications.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with employees, vendors and customers.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
