Job Title: Material Coordinator / Work Scheduler (B)

Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Material Coordinator / Work Scheduler for a healthcare facilities management bid in San Antonio, Texas. The Material Coordinator / Work Scheduler's responsibility is to procure, track, update, and inventory all materials, components, and equipment required in support of all recurring and non-recurring services performed as specified within this Contract. Materials Coordinator responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Research and identify product vendors, products, and product pricing in support of all recurring and non-recurring maintenance
  • Contact vendors and request price quotes
  • Order, receive, and inventory products in support of all recurring and non-recurring maintenance
  • Coordinate contractor parts and materials deliveries to the various work sites at a large medical treatment facility and outlying clinic
  • Conduct site walks with vendors and process all request through the Authorizing Officer
  • Maintain all supply request forms for
  • Provide vendor escort duties
  • Actively monitor and administer RPIE Inventory Maintenance tasks as specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS)
  • Maintain a current and accurate inventory of all government furnished
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Procure, track, update and inventory all materials, components, and equipment required in support of all recurring and non-recurring services performed
  • Manually input, upload, transfer and maintain data directly into DMLSS
  • Upload all data entry into the DMLSS by close of business each
  • Serve as the contractor's data management professional(s) while using client provided
  • Review, verify, and validate existing system and equipment inventories in DMLSS during the initial phase-in period and throughout the life of the Contract

Qualifications:
  • Experience using DMLSS CMMS is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Demonstrated experience in service work dispatch, and material management
  • Valid Drivers License
