Under the general directionof Materials Manager and within established hospital and departmentalguidelines, the Lead Materials Specialist performs a broad range of activitiesassociated with the operation and service level of the MM department. Incumbentwill actively support the day-to-day operations, focusing on productivity,customer service, staff support/management, area safety/cleanliness. Serves asarea expert and will provide coverage in the absence of their staff Manager.

Qualifications
Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills areessential. Requires excellent interpersonal, influential and organizationalskills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications helpful. Prior inventoryexperience essential/preferable. Attention to detail a must. Must be able tolearn how to safely operate electrical and manual pallet jacks.

3 years experience in operations, preferably in a health caresetting.
