On this team, you will perform a critical role on a team working to streamline the production of COVID-19 test kits.

Job Title: Material Master Data Specialist

Location: Burlington MA-01803

Duration: 12+ Months (potentially Temp to perm)

Note:

Focus of role: maintenance, process requests for changes, proactive, troubleshooter, ERP systems, SAP((plus)

Doesn't need to be extremely technical but isn't afraid to try new things

Previous titles: Data Analyst, Supply Chain/Planning, customer facing roles

Recent grad OK - "fresh" candidate 1-3 years' experience, potentially temp to perm

Job Description:

Your role:

The Material Master Data Specialist (m/f) is responsible for managing Material Master Data as a member of our Global Material Master Data Team, within the LS-QD organization.

The Material Master Data Specialist (m/f) will support the Life Science Business in ERP Material Life Cycle Management (LCM) enabling materials in the ERP Systems for transacting, while performing changes and troubleshooting any issue that might occur.

Job Objective:

The Material Master Data Specialist will be focused on:

  • Supporting the Material Master Data Team by successfully loading, launching, and maintaining material data objects, for the Life Science portfolio, across the ERPs landscape
  • Managing Master Data issues requests
  • Support projects whenever Material Master Data expertise is required
  • Participating in SAP projects such as implementation of new functionalities or common functionalities in new sites or improving workflows
  • Developing a deep knowledge in End-to-End business processes
Experience and Requirements
  • Passionate about how data and processes work across a complex ERP landscape, to successfully support the LS business
  • Keen eye for detail and striving for quality
  • Customer focused
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop business acumen, based on training and day-to-day experience
  • Passionate about digitalization, early adopter
  • Autonomous: can handle task with a high degree of autonomy and can assess and define priority.
  • Strong Team player: sharing knowledge and solutions with the colleague to contribute to the overall team growth
  • Ability to work under pressure effectively in a global, matrixed organization, across multiple time zones and geographies
  • Ability to facilitate virtual meetings and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced MS Office use, especially MS-Excel
  • BS/BA degree preferred
