- Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
- Full Time (7:00 am - 3:30 pm - with every other weekend rotation)
- Location: Germantown, MD
- Engineering Department
- This position reports to Plant Operations Manager
- To maintain Hospital, answer trouble calls, react appropriately in emergency situations and maintain hospital machinery and equipment.
- Provide emergency response to all Plant Operations equipment and tube system.
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent is required, with courses in shop, mathematics, mechanics, and general science.
- Technical school in mechanical maintenance, construction, electrical/electronics, and welding is preferred, or a combination of education/training and experience working in maintenance repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to understand and manipulate systems computers
- Capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.
- Weekend work and shift rotation may be required.
