Merakey, Harrisburg is seeking a full-time, 2nd shift, benefits-eligible staff for our residential programs.

The position provides for the safety and welfare of all consumers in the Residential Program including mental and physical health. The individual carries out direct care responsibilities and participates in and follows the treatment planning process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists in developing and implementing activities and other special projects designed to increase skills in independent and community living, socialization/leisure time.

• Builds on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.

• Engages consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.

• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment medical or any other appropriate reasons.

• Provides one to one interaction with consumers when appropriate.

• Must possess a High School or GED

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

• 6 months working in Behavioral Health is Preferred
