As a Slitter Operator, you will be a member of the departments operating team and will be responsible for operating the slitting & tension leveling equipment. You will work in an environment that promotes mutual respect, teamwork, employee involvement and continuous improvement.

Now offering $1,000 Sign on Bonus*

• Starting Pay $22.00-$26.00 depending on experience.
  

You will have the opportunity to:

• Ability to set up and run the slitting & tension leveling equipment and slit product to customer specifications.
  
• Report and remove defects as needed (deformed, discolored, misshaped, etc.)
  
• Interact with Material Handlers as needed.
  
• Support and adhere to all plant safety policies at all times.
  
• Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
  
• 5-10 years of slitting experience preferred.
  
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team to meet demands.
  
• Previous forklift experience is preferred.
  
• Able to read, write, use micrometers to measure to moderately close tolerances (.0001) and maintain accurate operating, identification, and scrap records.
  
• Able to work 7:00 am-5:00 pm. Must be able to work mandatory overtime on as needed basis.
