Baer is looking for Mid Level Systems Tester for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Mid Level Systems Tester
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 month
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough functional testing on the Kafka application to ensure it meets specified business requirements.
• Perform unit testing of individual components within the backend Kafka application to verify their functionality.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between different modules and systems.
• Execute regression testing to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Conduct performance testing to assess the system's responsiveness, stability, and scalability under various conditions.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables, provide feedback, and support issue resolution.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Document test results and provide detailed reports.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool. Work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing RESTful APIs to validate their functionality, performance, and security.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test execution and management, including the use of test management tools.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in working with JSON for data exchange and validation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
