One of our Multicultural Agencies is looking for an Account Planner to represent different perspectives of their clients to their Automotive Account.
We are seeking a Senior Account Planner/ Senior Brand Strategist to provide strategic thinking for integrated marketing communications (creative, digital, social, and experiential marketing).

Supporting an automotive brand, the work focuses on understanding the African American consumer market. In the role, you will work with a cross-functional team to turn data into insights and those insights into business-building creative ideas.

Responsibilities:
Bring the consumer to life for both the client and the agency; be the consumer’s champion so that the brand work is seen by the target audience as authentic and culturally relevant.


Compose and present briefs and POVs that are clear and help generate an organized framework for disruptive ideas that can change how the creatives, our clients and their customers think about our client’s brands.
Interpret cultural and social trends (especially in digital and social spaces) for use as the focal point for briefs that will guide our digital, social, creative and experiential teams.
Track and analyze the client’s competitive positioning, using both secondary and primary research (both qualitative and quantitative).
Create visually engaging presentations that tell a story drawn from data.
Work with the Planning Director to provide thought leadership on new business pitches and opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Qualifications
4+ years of strategic planning experience (Automotive experience a plus).
Equally adept at analytical and creative thinking, strong writing skills are critical.
Ability to make complex subjects understandable.
Experienced in briefing creative teams and presenting effectively to clients at different levels of seniority.
Ability to cull and interpret quantitative and qualitative research.
Ability to use data to articulate compelling stories and persuasive presentations.
Must be a team player that can collaborate effectively with multiple clients and multiple agency partners.
Enthusiasm about and passion for great creative, plus direct involvement in the creation of great work.
Experience working with multicultural and/or diverse markets.
Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint and Word.
