Are you our next NA Shared Services Senior Accountant?

As the North America Shared Services (NASS )Senior Accountant you will have ownership of the accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for various North American accounting activities such as, leading the month end close process for all North American locations with an emphasis on expense and capital accounting and accrual activities. In partnership with site finance teams and plant operations teams at all Mosaic North American operating locations you will prepare and maintain various monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

What will you do?

• Lead the accounting for North American operations activities.
  
• Partner with various contacts in operations accounting to ensure the accurate completion of monthly close and costing activities, including journal entries, allocations, cost center reviews, reconciliations, and warehouse accruals.
  
• Accounting for various North American accounting activities
  
• Prepare and maintain and support various monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  
• Act as primary contact for North American production sites.
  
• Partner with site finance teams and plant operations teams at all Mosaic North American operating locations to ensure accurate costing and reporting, which will include providing strong customer service.
  

What do you need for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance required
  
• 5+ years of accounting experience is required
  
• Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice
  
• Advanced working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices
  
• Broad understanding of internal controls
  
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills
  
• Experience/knowledge of SAP is a plus
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence and network
  
• Ability to work with employees at all levels within the organization
