Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Saturdays, less than 12 hours per week

Pay Grade/Pay Range: $15.00-18.75 *Actual pay depends on qualifications

Benefits Category: Partial benefits



Position Summary: Perform paraprofessional work by assisting teachers on Saturdays with students grades preK-6 in the JCCC art museum youth classes. The museum chaperone policy is 1 adult per 3 children younger than 3rd grade, older children 1:5. For safety purposes we need staff in addition to volunteers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher or at least sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited institution of higher education
  • CPR/First Aid certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to two years paraprofessional work experience with preK-6th grades in an educational environment
