JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in relevant education. Computer science or related degree, MS or MBA would be a plus
• 5+ years work experience within an IT organization for mid-sized organization with multiple locations a plus
• Action oriented - high level of motivation and results oriented
• Interest in assisting customers to increase value contribution to the organization
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate conflict whilst working with parties toward acceptable solution which satisfies spirit of requirement
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
• Experience working with multicultural teams a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal - excellent communication (written and verbal) with ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with infrastructure, network, development, and ba teams
• 5+ years' related professional experience, developing, maintaining and supporting applications, experience with ETRM systems a plus.
• Experience in domains energy trading and risk management, real time trading, securities (if possible)
• Experience in software design, architecture, development & implementation
• Experience working in vendor software solutions is a plus
• 5+ years' of demonstrated skill designing mid-size .Net web applications or whole modules for enterprise .Net web application
• Contribute to designing all aspects of the architecture of client applications, including components such as user interface, middleware and providing requirements to infrastructure and DBAs, and others as needed
• Architect and design solutions using current architectures, and implement small to large scale solutions adopting various technologies automating business process models
• Preferred Technical Experience:
• Experience developing in the C# language
• Demonstrated skill in communicating designs to developers and non- technicians
• Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Common Design Patterns - ASP.NE 2.0 (Web forms), .NET Framework and design patterns in Microsoft .NET technologies using C#
• Well versed in XML / XSLT - Experience on handling XML features and Web Services in .Net
• Team Foundation Server
• WinForms, (Visual Studio C#.Net)
• SQL Server
• WebServices
• Boomi experience a plus
• Powerbuilder experience a plus
• Relational databases (Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server)
• Solid understanding and experience of SOA and web services and other integration concepts
• Message Queuing
• Background in full lifecycle development using multiple platforms and languages
• Creative problem solver. Ability to analyze problems and determine practical solutions - Analytical, and problem-solving abilities with ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair issues, and recommend technical solutions and alternatives
• Experience in system diagnostics, such as performance tuning, capacity planning, and availability analysis a plus
