The Cyber Security Operations Center has an opening for a junior Cyber Risk and Compliance Analyst, which has several primary areas of responsibility. These include conducting risk assessments for acquiring new solutions, reviewing the risk of proposed changes to user access or firewall modifications, and maintaining the cyber security awareness training program.

This position is to assist the lead analyst on the day-to-day management of the cyber risk and compliance duties, assist in research and in some cases propose policy changes that need to be made, formal writing, and communication in English is a must.
Essential Responsibilities

Core Duties:

• Conduct risk assessments for solutions proposed by the business
• Communicate risk findings to stakeholders
• Develop cyber training materials, such as posters and digital communications
• Maintain the cyber security awareness training program, including web-based training modules
• Maintain suites of information (e.g., SharePoint) to facilitate access by end-users

Support the CISO and CIO in the formulation of cyber-related policies
Position Requirements

Education:B.S. in Information Security or similar preferred;Security-related certifications are a big plus. Examples include CISA, SSAP, Security+ Experience:Minimum experience is a recent graduate to 1 year of experience in a risk and/or compliance role. Skills/Knowledge:

• Understand risk sources, potential impacts, and likelihood
• Able to effectively communicate risk concepts to a non-technical audience
• Advice on risk response and mitigations to risk
• Possess the ability to identify insecure protocols
• Perform basic graphic design for awareness posters and digital communications
• Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, problem-solving
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and policy
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities with short notice
• High standard of professionalism and ethics
