Location: Newark, NJ
Salary: $38 - $4/ hr
Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a correctional facility client in Newark, NJ.

This is a full time, direct hire role with a salary of $79k-$91.5k

3 shifts available: Day, Mid, and Night

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform direct and indirect nursing care for inmates
• Use current knowledge to promote a safe environment for providing health care
• Performs and documents medical evaluations on inmate patients of the assigned correctional facility consistent with the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) standards of care,
  
• Attends staff meetings
• Ensure medical records are recorded in SOAP note format
• records reactions to treatments and medication
• other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current RN License in NJ
• Current CPR/BLS
• 1 year experience as an RN
• Prior experience in corrections preferred but not required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with 2 weekends a month
