Barge Design Solutions is actively seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager within the Federal Client Center. This role is not just a position; it's an opportunity to shape the future of our Architecture and Engineering firm. Open to candidates across all Barge office locations, we are also exploring remote work possibilities for exceptional individuals outside these regions.
As the Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program (using NQA-1) and associated procedures for our Federal teams. Beyond that, you will be the driving force behind ensuring the highest standards of quality control for our DoD and DoE project deliveries.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Pioneering research to identify industry quality standards and best practices, providing innovative approaches to embed quality into the DNA of every project.
-Spearheading and supervising the performance and reporting of our nuclear audits for our nuclear quality program, showcasing your leadership and expertise.
-Proactively updating and maintaining the NQA-1 program processes and procedures, ensuring we stay at the forefront of quality excellence.
-Collaborating seamlessly with external auditors for periodic NQA-1 audits and program reviews, establishing our commitment to transparency and excellence.
-Overseeing quality assurance reviews under the NQA-1 program, showcasing your commitment to precision and accountability.
-Offering unwavering support to project managers through the supervision of quality control processes for Barge's projects, reinforcing our dedication to project success.
-Support the Federal Client Center with compliance reporting required on federal contracts.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
-U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this role.
-A Bachelor of Architecture or a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering from an accredited program or equivalent is mandatory.
-Demonstrated experience in effectively managing or working in NQA-1 programs is a non-negotiable requirement.
-Proven track record in planning, executing, reporting, and closing QA audits.
-A minimum of 5 years of related experience, showcasing your depth of knowledge in the field.
-Exceptional oral, written, and graphical communication skills, emphasizing your ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity and precision.
-A proven ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines effectively, highlighting your commitment to delivering results.
-Strong teambuilding skills, reflecting your dedication to fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
-Adept at collaborating with other design disciplines, ensuring a holistic approach to project success.
-Experience with Federal agency project delivery is preferred, underscoring your understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this domain.
