Hours: 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. with 4th weekend rotation

$36.278/hr - $47.162/hour, depending on experience PLUS $3 differential for every hour worked!
Examples of Work
Assign, direct and monitor the work of staff care techs, LPNs, and RNs for the purpose of providing quality care to the members. To Meet this expectations the House Supervisor shall receive information about the members from the 24 hour report sheet and incorporate that information into the work assignments given to the staff care techs, LPN, RNs. Throughout the shift they are available and accessible to all nursing staff, member, supervisors and families for consultation and direction. Provide oversight on staff performance that may include audits, performance evaluations, coaching and in-services as needed. House Supervisor will ensure that the care delivered meets State and Federal regulations. To meet this the nurse must ensure adequate staffing per minimum ratios and care hours set by policy and VA regulations, report events to the Nurse Executive or designee timely and accurately, must have knowledge of policy and procedures including but not limited to abuse and neglect, emergency and care guidelines.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska and experience assigning, reviewing, leading or supervising the work of others.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Nurse Supervisor must be able to work under pressure and make sound judgements to ensure member and staff safety. To meet this the nurse must have excellent critical thinking skills & clinical skills, be able to prioritize, have excellent problem solving skills. Interacting and building positive working relationships with members, families, co-workers and supervisory staff. To meet this expectation staff must exhibit and demonstrate consistently good human relation skills. To include but not limited to: Exhibit a professional demeanor, role model to staff, able to coach staff, have the ability to give constructive feedback, demonstrate conflict resolution and coach others in effective conflict resolution techniques
