Technology company in Midtown near Penn Station seeks to hire a Temporary Office Administrator for a 1- 2-month contract role. This is onsite 5 days per week. Hours are ENTER.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a wide variety of responsible, complex, and technical administrative duties in support of assigned department or personnel.
  • Initiates and processes purchase orders and submits invoices for payment while coordinating with the Finance department.
  • Ability to help plan for and set up meetings, events, and to coordinate through various parties for successful initiatives.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as needed.
  • Manages the New York office which includes, but is not limited to, serving as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests and scheduling repairs and ordering all office related supplies.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for the administrative team throughout the company for employee visits.
  • Effectively manages all office visitors. Ensures visitor sign-in system is functioning and physical security processes are followed.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years of administrative or related experience working with employees in different levels across various areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to work overtime if necessary to support the office.
  • Proactive with the ability anticipate needs and clearly communicate issues, opportunities for improvement, or needs as they occur with all levels of management, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Time management skills to meet and adapt to changing requirements or priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with office management and basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Teams and SharePoint.

Compensation:

$20hr - $25hr depending on experience
