We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Operational Process Manager who will oversee production and transport processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure quality and compliance across various business units. Focusing on processes, safety, compliance, service and efficiency/profit maximization, the Process Manager will assess process execution of 12 business units. This role requires an individual who learns methods of plant, manufacturing, and transportation associates and influences outcomes by working closely with front line workers, supervisors, and managers.

What you will do

    • Partner with Safety to manage proactive and reactive safety measures to show continuous improvement in safety culture.
    • Develop functional knowledge of Daniels Operations (Plant, Manufacturing, and Transportation)
    • Responsible as primary interface for internal site audits, directly observe processes, collect data, analyze information, and work with staff to recognize obstacles in workflow.
    • Manage quality control standards and measures to achieve targeted outcomes. Periodically review in process and finished goods inspections.
    • Work with Drivers and Transport leaders to drive compliance and efficiency goals.
    • Review operating reports and liaise with Supervisors and Leads as appropriate to direct the resolution of operational and maintenance problems.
    • Work with a CMMS to insure consistent completion of operational SOPs.
    • Conduct virtual and on-site training to drive corrective action results.
    • Learn to speak directly and address opportunities head on, while clearly communicating quality standards in a manner that encourages plant level support and action.
    • The Process Manager will support many complex projects involving cross functional leaders.
    • Support implementation, improvement, training, and execution of Quality documents, audits, and resolve non-conformities.
    • Willingness to take on other assignments that drive quality standards.
    • Foster and maintain a positive relationship with all levels of the supply chain.


Skills
    • 3-8 years of leadership experience within relevant role
    • Proven success with continuous improvement processes related to quality, cost savings and operational efficiencies.
    • Intermediate word and excel skills for reporting purposes.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability and willingness to travel to "go see" the process.
    • Ability to win support for quality during difficult conversations with stakeholders.
