Prologis is seeking an Operations Construction Manager who will play a meaningful role in ensuring our properties are move-in ready and be responsible for identifying, coordinating and leading activities related to tenant and capital improvement projects.

As an integral part of the Customer Experience Team (CET), you will work alongside your peers from leasing, property management, and maintenance to ensure our buildings remain best-in-class and deliver elite customer service to our tenants. You will have an ability to build positive relationships with vendors, public agencies, customers and internal teams to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of our spaces. In this role, you will be positioned to optimize our portfolio by having a deep understanding of the features and functions within our properties that influence rental behaviors. This role will allow you the opportunity to better understand our customer's business, ability to listen to their problems and help introduce solutions and products through our Prologis Essentials program.

What's needed in order to do that:


  • Advise a team of consultants and contractors to develop tenant improvement plans, specifications, construction budgets, and schedules.

  • Work efficiently as part of a coordinated customer service team in partnership with property management, leasing, construction, procurement, and corporate functions.

  • Ability to identify additional revenue opportunities by demonstrating a specialist understanding of Prologis valuable products and services to align them to customer needs (Prologis Essentials, etc..).

  • Handle the procurement of permits and all vital governmental approvals.

  • Develop, tender and run competitive bid packages for a variety of sizes of Tenant and Capital Improvement projects ranging from $25,000 to $20,000,000 in construction cost.

  • Research design and construction innovations and value engineering opportunities that will improve and future-proof Prologis' developments without compromising functionality or life cycle costs.

  • Interface and develop working relationships with various public agencies.

  • Find opportunities to upgrade and improve the value of existing real estate portfolio.

  • Ensure customer happiness through each project.


Tell us if you're ready.

  • Proven track record working in the Construction Management field; 3-5 years experience balancing multiple concurrent construction projects.

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil or Structural) or related field preferred.

  • Project management experience with a commercial general contractor, real estate owner, and/or owner's representative preferred.

  • Customer centric approach that focuses on solving customer problems by providing products and services that meet the customers need.

  • Confirmed time management and leadership skills.

  • Detailed reporting skills and comfort with project management software.

  • Experience in Property Improvements, Roofing, Construction, Tenant Improvements and Renovations.

  • Proficient with or ability to quickly learn new technologies (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD viewer, Bluebeam and Smartsheet).

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
