Our client, a global logistics company is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis, interviewing immediately. They are located in Carol Stream, IL. This position is onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively to meet customer requirements, resolve customer problems or complaints expeditiously, and complete booking requests timely.
• Report any OS&D issues on cargo received to customer, follow up to determine the outcome if the cargo can be shipped, required to be re-packed or collected as it could not be exported.
• Chase any missing document with the customer to ensure all required paperwork is received prior to cut off.
• Complete booking requests
• Make sure load planning is aware of any special requirements on the handling of the cargo

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years logistics or operations experience
• Microsoft Windows, MS Office
