Basic Job Functions:
The Position:
Foam Injected Product Operators (FIP) are responsible for ensuring the proper operation of equipment utilized in the production of foam-injected products.
(Note: 2nd Shift FIP Operators are trained on 1st Shift until training completion)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain equipment used in the production of foam-injected products
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and identify any issues that arise
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards
- Complete necessary documentation and paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-yearof previous general labor and/or machine operatorexperience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- 2 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial machines
