OPS Laboratory Technician
Job Description:
The lab tech will prepare worm culture plates; freeze and maintain worm strains; perform DNA purification and transformation; freeze and maintain bacterial stocks; prepare buffers and solutions; perform autoclaving materials; assist in experimental setups and data collection; conduct routine laboratory maintenance and organization; assist with general lab tasks, such as ordering supplies and restocking inventory and maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and observations.
Salary
$11-$14 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree or some college in a related field will be highly preferred; experience in basic science laboratory will be highly preferred.
