Perform x-ray examinations as ordered by an appropriate health professional. Perform patient intake, take brief history and chief complaint. Ensure all images are stored on the picture archival computer system (PACS).
Perform electrocardiograms and spirometry.
Schedule patients for outside Radiology exams according to insurance and clinician requirements.
Qualifications
A.S. in Radiology Technology.
License/Certification:
Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of Florida and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Required Minimum Skills:
Must exhibit excellent communication skills as this position requires frequent verbal and written communications with: physicians, patients, and nursing staff.
Candidate must be able to explain or give directions to maintain goodwill, and obtain cooperation with all contacts.
Must possess the ability to function independently in a fast paced environment, while still actively participating in a team environment.
Must exhibit excellent customer service skills at all times.
Must have experience with electronic medical records and digital x-ray equipment.
This position requires a Pre-Employment PPD Test (TB).
Preferred
RT ultrasound certification.
1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Radiology Technologist.
