RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle DBA in Murray, UT.Summary:The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) plays a pivotal role in providing leadership and guidance for database administration activities and personnel. This seasoned professional is adept at administering corporate databases, ensuring their integrity, security, and optimal performance. The candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in all facets of database administration and can operate independently with minimal supervision, offering technical guidance and leadership to peers.Responsibilities:- Oracle DBA will provide operational support to customers, resolving database-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with customers and management to devise strategies for current and future database architectures
- Assist in various projects as required, offering expertise in database administration
- Contribute to the development of quality initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and increasing operational efficiencies
- Offer solutions to intricate issues pertaining to databases, utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills
- As an Oracle DBA, you will design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving, ensuring the protection and integrity of data assets
- Assist in researching and recommending database products to support procurement and development endeavors
- Work closely with application development teams to devise database architectures, establish coding standards, and implement quality assurance measures
- Monitor database system details and implement efficiency enhancements to optimize database performance
- Contribute to the establishment of standards and processes for developers, promoting best practices in database usage
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle databases
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps practices
- Technical proficiency in database administration and hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Thorough understanding of current database hardware, protocols, and standards
- ITIL certification is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
