Location: New York City, NY
Description: Our client is currently seeking a OSP Engineer - III in New York City.
Candidates must be local. Role requires 2 days/week in office (southern NYC/Manhattan)
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Fiber/plant design
- Determine cable path and equipment locations for telecom facilities.
- Performing physical surveys in the field
- Reviewing prints, managing adjustments.
- Coordinating with Construction to schedule work, access, etc.
- 5+ years experience
- Strong understanding of OSP engineering and building/fios infrastructure
- Fiber and Copper
- Knowledge of local practices, right of way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
- Strong computer skills.
